Can I use VideoGP for an emergency or urgent problem?

Modified on Thu, 1 Oct at 12:33 AM

No. VideoGP is not an emergency service and using it for an emergency could delay necessary treatment. If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 999 or attend A&E. Contact emergency services immediately if you or someone else has severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke, heavy bleeding that will not stop, or has lost consciousness. For urgent medical advice that is not life-threatening, NHS 111 or an appropriate local urgent care service may be more suitable.
